You can arrive in different ways from the train station Ghent-Sint-Pieters:

- By foot: 10-15 minutes

- By bus: you can take a bus at the station that stops at Ter Platen bridge. Bus 34, 35, 36, 55, 57, 58, 71, 72, 76, 77, 78.

-By taxi: approximately 5 minutes

- By car: If you take the road R40, you can avoid the charges for the low-emission zone, if your car is incompatible. More info about the low-emission zones on https://stad.gent/en/mobility-ghent/low-emission-zone-ghent-2020.

Edville Studio’s reception is open from Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

You can check in from 15:00. If you arrive earlier, you can always book a locker to temporarily store your suitcases.

Please contact us by phone. You can book a locker starting at €5.

On request you can rent a baby bed. Price is €10 per stay.

Once the cancellation terms have expired and payment has been approved, you will recieve 2 codes vor check-in via email.

There is a code for the gate and a code for the key box.

Only the door in the black gate can open. The entire gate can not open!

The door in the gate can be opened ia a code panel attached to the door. Depending on the time of day, you can also open the door without a code.

When you have opened the door in the black gate, you will see the keybox on your right at the entrance.

Your key will be placed in the keybox from 15:00 with your name and room number on it.

You must leave the room by 10:00.

You can request a late check-out until 13:00. This costs €20.

Because we are not a hotel, other principles apply, we have some household rules.

The following small household chores must be done before you check out:

- All cutlery and plates must be dry and clean and then stored in the cupboard.

- Do not leave food in the refrigerator.

- All used blankets, sheets or pillows must be striped of their covers and placed on one bed.

- Switch off heating and all lights

- Recycle your waste. Edvile Team will remove the waste from the room

​- Yellow garbage bin: rest

​- Blue garbage bin: plastic bottles, drinking cartons & metal cans

Place the key in the check-out box before leaving.

The old historic part of the city is a 15 minutes walk away from the accomodation, just follow the river to the right. The center is also reachable by public transport. Bus stop ‘Ter Platenbrug’ is located 200m from our address. Bus lines 55, 58, 71, 72, 76, 77, 78 will lead you to ‘Gent Zuid’, where you can take tram 4, which goes to the center. You can get off at the Korenmarkt, right in the center. The journey takes about 15 minutes. Note: there are no night buses, so make sure you know when is the last bus (around 1) or be prepared to go by foot or pay the taxi. Taxis are fairly cheap in Ghent. The starting price is €8.50 for the first 3km. 

Edville Studio is located just outside the low emission zone.

You will need to come to Edville Studio via the ring road then along Marie van Bourgondiënstraat.

The kitchen is equipped with all cutlery and plates for 4 people.
Furthermore, there is an French coffee maker available with coffee.
A water boiler, oven, microwave and hotplates are also present.
We provide oil for cooking, pepper and salt.

We provide towels, sponge, dishwashing product, and chamois leather in the kitchen.

In the closest in the corridor (1th and 3th floor) of the building you can find brushes, cleaning products, dirt can, mop and buckets in case you need them.

There is a shower, toilet and sink in the bathroom.

We provide toilet paper, hand soap and towels. 

Yes. Edville Studio provides bedding and towels for the amount of guests in the reservation.

Hairdryer is in the bathroom.
You can find extra toilet paper in the closet on the 1st and 3th floor.

No, none of our rooms have a television

Edville Studio has no elevator.

There is a zero tolerance for:

- Partying, music or noise between 9pm-9am.

- Smoking in the room.

- Damage to the room or building

- Rude behavior to other guests or staff members.

- Groups with ages under 30.

Violation of these rules may resut in immediate departure from the room.

Mastercard and VISA

Please make sure that your VISA or mastercard is a credit card and not a debit card.

Each guest will receive an invoice after their stay.

The invoice wil be sent within 5 working days after the stay if a valid email address is provided.

A deposit is required when a guest books more than 1 studio. The deposit is 200€ per studio.
