Check-in at Edville Studio – Everything You Need to Know
Welcome to Edville Studio! We want your arrival to be as smooth and worry-free as possible.
That’s why we’ve put together the most frequently asked questions and answers about our check-in process.
Here you’ll find all the information about arrival times, self check-in instructions, and everything useful to know before your stay.
Whether you arrive early in the morning or late at night, we’ll make sure your check-in is simple and that your experience starts off right away on a positive note.
Edville Studio is located at Terplaten 60, Ghent.

You can check in from 3:00 PM onwards, at any time after your arrival.
From 3:00 PM, your key will be waiting for you in the key box.
Arriving earlier? You can reserve a locker for your luggage, so you can start exploring Ghent or enjoy a relaxed meal somewhere.

Our office is located in the courtyard, underneath the metal staircase.
We are open on weekdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, except on Wednesdays, when we are open from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
The key box is located next to the entrance door of Building A, where the studios are situated.
To get there, first open the door in the black gate on the street side using the code 1891.
On the left-hand side, you will see the key box mounted on the wall.
Inside the key box, you will find a key with a name tag showing your name and your studio number.
If the number starts with a 1, your studio is on the first floor, and so on.
Please only take the key that has your name on it.
Fortunately, this hasn’t happened so far, but if the key box doesn’t work, please call +32 468 18 71 42 or +32 494 911190.
One possible reason the key box might not work is a dead battery or a power outage.
On the right side of the beige reception wall, you will find a small key box.
Inside, there is a key that allows you to manually open the large key box.
The code for this small key box is 1981.

Owner Edward Geers
Edward Geers, owner of Edville Studio, literally grew up on the site where his business now stands. His childhood home was on the same property, so every stone and corner holds memories for him. From this familiar ground, he, together with his partner Daphné, fully developed Edville Studio. Co-owner and Interior Designer – Daphné Gaeremuynck
Together with Edward Geers, his partner founded Edville Studio, where her creativity and attention to detail played a major role in the project’s success. Her love for design and nature is reflected in the warm, stylish look of the studios. Above all, her heart belongs to horses — a passion that further enhances her sense of care, harmony, and beauty.

Head of reservations- Jan Coussement
Jan Coussement, our Head of Reservations, has been a good friend of Edward since childhood. With his calm and friendly approach, he ensures that every reservation goes smoothly. Jan loves sports, traveling, and moments of pure relaxation — qualities that are reflected in his patience and attention to detail. He is always ready to assist you with any questions, so your stay can begin worry-free.

Head of cleaning- Lowella Santos
Lowella, our Head of Housekeeping, was born in the Philippines and has brought her talents to hotels around the world. With years of experience, she knows better than anyone how to care for a room down to the smallest detail — making a bed with unmatched precision. Always with a smile, she is ready to assist guests with any questions, making everyone feel immediately welcome.
