Your stay at Edville Studio has unfortunately come to an end! We want your departure to be as smooth and stress-free as your arrival. That’s why we’ve gathered the most frequently asked questions and answers about our check-out process. Here you’ll find everything you need to know about departure times, check-out instructions, and other useful tips for wrapping up your stay.
Please keep in mind that we are not a traditional hotel, but operate more in the spirit of an Airbnb. Our cleaning team ensures you always arrive to a fresh, tidy studio, but we kindly ask guests to do their part before leaving — such as sorting waste, doing the dishes, and leaving the space as you found it.
- Check-out Time: 10:00
- Prepare: Please double-check that you’ve packed all your personal belongings, such as chargers, clothing, and valuables. If any furniture or decorations were moved during your stay, kindly return them to their original place. Don’t forget to switch off all lights and electrical appliances before you leave!
- Dishes:
Please wash all used dishes (plates, glasses, cutlery, pans, etc.) and return them to the cupboards.
- Waste Sorting:
Please separate your waste into general waste, PMD (plastic, metal, and drink cartons), paper/cardboard, and glass, and place it in the designated outdoor containers. You’ll find our recycling station in the courtyard behind the kayaks, where each type of waste has its own bin. Also, make sure to remove all leftover food from the refrigerator before you leave.
- Keys: Please leave the keys in the check-out key box. See photo below.
You must check out by 10:00 AM.
If you’d like to stay a bit longer, you can opt for a late check-out until 1:00 PM for €20. You can book this directly through our website or request it via the messaging system of the platform you used to make your reservation.
Please leave the key in the check-out keybox. This is located below the keybox you used to collect your key during check-in, next to the entrance door of Building A, where the studios are located. No code is needed. Simply deposit the keys in the slot marked “check-out.”
Late Check-out
If you’d like to stay in your room a little longer, you can request a late check-out. You may stay in your studio until 1:00 PM for €20. Send us a message to reserve this option, or book it directly on our website: https://studio.edville.be/en/extra-services.
Lockers
If you’d like to explore Ghent a bit longer, you can choose to store your luggage in one of our lockers. You can pick up your belongings later in the day. Send us a message to reserve this option, or book it directly on our website via https://studio.edville.be/en/extra-services.
Please sort your waste!
